The first step in finding out if a Karate class might be right for your child is very simple, just ask.

Is your child unsure about Karate? Consider taking them to a local Karate School and ask the owner if both of you can observe a class. Also talk to the instructors ask about their approach to teaching and their philosophy.

Karate schools also teach character, and behavior. They often emphasize humility and respect as part of their curriculum.

Most classes recommend that kids start around 4 to 6 years old, young exposure is never a bad idea. The class will get them moving, running and jumping.

The structured environment with help improve focus and listening skills.
